Improving returns when marketing finished cattle and sheep is a priority for all livestock farmers and now Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC) is communicating the key messages associated with successful selection for slaughter through a new DVD.




The 'Gate to Plate' DVD highlights the key points to consider when selecting for slaughter, providing a straightforward guide that covers lamb, beef and cows.

The bilingual DVD provides practical demonstrations at a farm and an abattoir, assessing live animals through to the classification of carcasses.
