Cernyw strikes gold against UK’s best

RUTHIN swimmer Cernyw Evans has struck gold again.

Cernyw was in Swansea to compete at an open meet for the best swimmers from Wales, England, Ireland and Scotland.
 

At the meet, Cernyw claimed a freestyle gold, as well as bronze medal finishes in the backstroke and the 100m freestyle.
 

In all, the talented Ruthin swimmer reached six finals.
 

There is more to look forward to next month as the Ruthin and Rhyl swimming clubs’ member has been chosen for one of the Welsh teams to take part in the Duel in the Pool in Swansea.
