A GROUP of Denbigh sportspeople are meeting the boys in blue far too often this season!
The weather again played its part in the Llandudno Table Tennis League programme and only four scorecards were received this week.
In Division One Police A and Denbigh A met for the fourth time this season in all competitions.
The score is now all-square with two wins each after Denbigh narrowly won 6-4.
Mark Pugh has made an enormous difference in the previous encounters and it was lucky for Denbigh that he was unavailable for this clash.
No one player dominated on the night with Denbigh’s Sean Lucas and Melvyn Booker winning two matches as did James Wan for the Police.
Thomas Au Yeung played well all night but was edged out in the fifth game in his opening two encounters.
However, he overcame Denbigh’s Paul Hulme in the fifth game.
