PROP star Eifion Roberts is set to perform in one of the world’s greatest rugby competitions.
The giant front row forward from Llanbedr DC is a surprise inclusion in Wales’ 35-man squad for the 2010 RBS Six Nations Championship.
Eifion already has one international cap to his name, after coming on as a second half replacement in the 2008 autumn friendly against Canada at the Millennium Stadium.
But the Sale Sharks player was a surprise omission from the Wales squad for last year’s autumn internationals.
Wales’ Six Nations Championship campaign begins on Saturday, February 6 with a trip to Twickenham to play England. This is followed by back-to-back home matches versus Scotland (February 13) and France (February 26), then a trip to Croke Park to play Ireland on March 13.
Wales’ championship bid concludes at the Millennium Stadium on March 20, with Italy providing the opposition.
