Wrestling returns to Denbigh this Saturday, February 20 as the International Superstars of Britannia Wrestling Promotions (BWP) get set for a night of family entertainment and hard hitting grappling action at Denbigh Town Hall.
The BWP superstars will be putting on a ground shaking evening of wrestling.
The main event of the night is the Rural Rumble, where 20 of the biggest and baddest superstars battle it out by eliminating 19 other men by tossing them over the top rope to the venue floor.
In addition to this main event, there will be several other matches booked.
Including a BWP World Catchweight Championship match between current champion El Destello (Mexico) and his opponent - Zack Diamond.
They will compete for the title in a Denbigh Street Fight, a guaranteed slobberknocker of a match.
There will also be a number one contenders match for the BWP title, as Andy Baker, Baby Face Pit Bull, The Iron Duke and Abergele’s own Jim The Metal King face off in a Fatal 4Way match.
Jim King was the sole survivor of the Lethal Lottery match last month in front of an Abergele crowd which gained him his spot in the Fatal4Way match alongside three of the biggest guys in the business today.
BWP Founder, Steve Saxon, formerly of Denbigh said: “Its great to be able to bring our show to Denbigh.
“I lived there for over three years and had to travel into Rhyl if I wanted to watch live wrestling, and that was only available during the summer holidays.
“So I’m confident the residents of Denbigh will appreciate the BWP coming to town – its going to be a great night,” he added.
The BWP Rural Rumble show will take place at Denbigh Town Hall on Saturday, February 20, doors open at 6.30pm with the first match commencing from 7.30pm.
