ARRIVA Trains Wales is advising customers and fans planning to travel by train to the Six Nations Wales vs Italy match at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday, March 20, to allow plenty of time for their journey.

The game will kick-off at the Millennium Stadium at 2.30 p.m. and around 74,500 fans are expected in Cardiff and train services are expected to be extremely busy.

A queuing system will be in place at Cardiff Central station after the match and Queen Street station will be closed after 15.30 p.m.

Simon Turton, Special Events Manager for Arriva Trains Wales said “Seats are available on a first come first served basis.  If travellers are not attending the match we would strongly advise them to travel at a different time to avoid the crowds.”

Full train times and fares information can be obtained by visiting www.arrivatrainswales.co.uk  or from National Rail Enquiries on 08457 484950.
