Lone driver death near A55

A MAN has been killed after his Vauxhall Vectra crashed on a slip road near the Black Cat roundabout in Glan Conwy.

The incident happened at 1:15pm on Thursday, May 27 while the man - who has not been named - was believed to be turning on to the eastbound lane of the A55.

Only the victim's vehicle was involved in the crash and he was declared dead at the scene.

No other injuries have been reported.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the five door, grey Vauxhall Vectra at the time of the collision to come forward.
