AN MP has pledged to continue campaigning to ensure the fox hunting ban in this country remains.

Clwyd South MP Susan Elan Jones, who was vocal about her opposition to fox hunting during the election campaign, has now signed an Early Day Motion in Parliament on the subject.

Ms Jones met with the League Against Cruel Sports' Political and Parliamentary Officer Joshua Kaile in Westminster and pledged to continue campaigning to keep the fox hunting ban in this country.

"Since I have been elected, I have received many emails from local residents saying that they are opposed to fox hunting," said Ms Jones.

"I will certainly be using my vote against fox hunting if Parliament gets a vote on repealing the hunting ban."

Mr Kaile from the League Against Cruel Sports said: "I know that Susan Elan Jones is very opposed to fox hunting.

"It was good to meet with her in person and hear her strong support for this important animal welfare campaign."
