THEY say that good looks run in the family, which is very true for one pair of siblings.

Four year-old Rio Slater, from Trefnant is one of six children from across the UK to have made it to the final of this years TP’s Face of Active Fun 2011.

Rio, the only finalist in Wales, is following in his sister's - Keira Slater's footsteps - after she won the competition last year.

TP Toys, a renowned toy manufacturer, launched a competition to find TP’s Face of Active Fun.

The six finalists will each be awarded their ideal toy, the overall winner will take away £1,000 worth of TP products of their choice.

"Rio is absolutely thrilled to bits and has already won a Balloopa, you have to try and kick a ball through a hole, and a giant football goal which is as big as our garden," said his mother Kat Slater.

In addition the winner will be invited along to a professional photo shoot to have their picture taken for the catalogue.

Voting is now open, and the child with the most votes by July 4 will be framed as TP’s Face of Active Fun 2011.

"With people only being able to vote once it really is a case of those with the biggest family and group of friends will win so we are really counting on the votes of local people to vote for the local boy," added Ms Slater.
