SIT back and be entertained with an array of live performances in Llangollen over the coming weeks.
The Llangollen Fringe Festival will be held in the town from Friday (July 16) to Saturday, July 24.
The line up of performers include Pama International, Alabama 3 Acoustic and Unplugged and a great double bill of up and coming acts Cate Le Bon and Race Horses.
Eccentric, post-punk performer John Otway will be entertaining audiences next Tuesday, July 20.
The man, known for his hits Road Runner and Cor Baby That's Really Free, currently tours as a solo act; as a duo with Richard Holgarth; and often with his Big Band which includes Murray Torkildsen, Seymour, Adam Batterbee and guest keyboard player Barry Upton.
He will appear live at Llangollen Town Hall on July 20, tickets are £8.
Also on this years guest list is Kasaï Masaï, who will be bringing the traditional sound of remote equatorial African villages to the UK, adding a unique and contemporary twist on the way.
Kasaï Masaï are a quintet led by Nickens Nkoso.
Playing ancestral music which has been passed on from generation to generation, their sound is rooted in the healing power of the driving percussion and singing combined with the majestic Congolese guitar and jazz saxophone.
Written in Swahili, Lingala and Kimongo, the lyrics reflect the cultural diversity of a region where more than four hundred languages are spoken.
Kasaï Masaï will appear live at the Llangollen Town Hall on Saturday, July 24, tickets are £10.
During the festival there is also an audience with the writer/broadcaster Will Self plus the legendary punk poet John Cooper Clarke.
Events to be held around Llangollen include the Fringe Fest street festival, Pobl llangollen, Living History Walk, Dance Workshops, Murder Mystery Train and Ivor the Engine at Llangollen Railway and much more.
