Flint schoolboy dies in hospital after fight for life

A SCHOOLBOY who suffered serious injuries in an attack which left his mum dead has died in hospital.

Patryk Wasko, 11, a pupil at St Mary’s RC Primary School in Flint, died last night at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool.

His mother Monika Wasko, 29, was found dead by police after they were called to an incident in Cae Hir, Flint, on Sunday.

Mrs Wasko also has another child.

Lodger Krystian Krysztof Rozek, 27, has been charged with the murder of Mrs Wasko along with the attempted murder of her husband, Rafael, 33, and Patryk.

All are alleged to have been stabbed.

The case was adjourned until a preliminary hearing tomorrow.
