ST ASAPH 2nds endured a point-less weekend as they took another step towards Division Two relegation.

The basement side lost to Menai Bridge 2nds by 116 runs, after their visitors’ reached 203-8 in 45 overs.
 

Nick Evans (66) and Paul Lucas (59) were the batting heroes, while Warren Edwards (2-23), Adam El-Lamie (1-46), Luke Robinson (1-44), Huw Alexander (1-30) and Alex Baker (1-18) were in wicket taking form.
 

St Asaph could only muster 87 all out, with Warren Edwards (22) and Jimmy Vaughan (24) the leading lights.
