PAUL McCracken just continues to pick up trophies.

The Denbigh ace won two titles at the Conwy county championships.

McCracken, who was forced to withdraw from the quarter-finals of the Welsh national championships due to an injury to partner Jody Parker, bounced back to win a brace of titles.

Despite not playing much due to illness, McCracken overcame his problems to win the men’s singles and doubles competitions.

Meanwhile, in the Flintshire League, a draw was a fair result when Connah’s Quay entertained Ruthin A in Division Two, while Llanferres A whitewashed Deeside B who arrived two players short and accumulated just 74 points.

Heather Parry and Owain Astley clinched a sound win for Ruthin A, defeating the Mold B pairing of Joe Pugh and Jean Rogers to help their side to a 5-3 success.

Denbigh B lost 6-2 to Llanferres A, and Llanferres B produced an inspired 5-3 win at Division Three title contenders Wynnstay Arms.

Joint players of the match were young twins Hugo and Daniel Williams who triumphed over Craig Boyle and Andy Trestain at second men’s.

Second placed Llangollen crushed visitors Holywell B 7-1.
