THE work of North Wales Reptile and Raptor Sanctuary will be featured again on television.

Gary Dickinson and Jane Drinkwater run the Graigfechan centre which caters for reptiles, birds of prey, owls and other exotic animals and covers North Wales, North West England and the Marshes.

The sanctuary started from their home in the suburbs of Chester and was featured a number of times on Animal Hospital.

In February 2003 they moved to Denbighshire in order to give the sanctuary more space.

Recently notable animals rehabilitated and cared for by the sanctuary are the Black Widow spider found at BAE in Broughton and the Terrapin found in Wrexham after being attached to an ignited rocket on Bonfire Night.

Jane and Gary regularly give education displays and support the work of other animal charities and offer support and education to regulatory bodies.

The North Wales Reptile and Raptor Sanctuary will feature on BBC1's Animal 24/7 at 9.15am on February 14 and 21.
