Ann Jones, AM for Vale of Clwyd, welcomed Leighton Andrews AM and took him to meet with incubation business manager at OPTic Technium John Oli
ver to discuss opportunities for expansion in St Asaph.

"I was delighted the minister came to visit the OPTic Technium, the innovative work done there and the quality jobs provided are vital to the area," said Ann Jones.

"The Technium is going from strength to strength and recently won a prestigious RegioStar award, making it a world leader.

"I believe that expansion is crucial to the regeneration of our area and I'm glad that the minister listened to my concerns that the Technium's potential can only be achieved through this expansion."

Mr Andrews added: "The Vale of Clwyd faces both challenges and opportunities. The exciting developments around the St Asaph Business Park, not least the Optic technium centre, show the full potential of the area."
