Davies biggest casualty of election

STUART Davies was the biggest casualty as people went to the polls in last Thursday's Denbighshire County Council elections.




The former deputy leader could only finish third in Llangollen, where there were two councillor seats up for grabs.

Plaid Cymru's Rhys Hughes won the Llangollen contest and the other major shock of the election was the ousting of veteran councillor Elwyn Edwards in a six way fight for three seats in Ruthin.
