Family council-ing!

TWO generations of the same family have been elected to serve on the same community council for the very first time.




It was the first time that father and son Rob, 61, and Jac Armstrong, 22 stood in elections for Llanferres Community Council.

"They had both attended several county council meetings and wanted to get involved," said Pat Armstrong, the proud wife and mother.

"My husband worked as a church warden, and wanted to work within the village again."
