POST YOUR COMMENTS BELOW.The youngsters from Ruthin, Llangollen and Prestatyn met other Scouts from countries including the USA, Canada, Germany, Israel, and Nigeria to take part in water sports, games, incident hikes
, craft making and much more.
In the evenings there were discos, films and live bands who played to the crowds from a large outdoor stage.
The Scouts also had day visits to Duxford Air museum and the local beach.
The theme for the event was endangered animals, with the sub-camps suitably named. The Denbighshire Scouts were on Orang-utan sub-camp.
During the camp there was an International Day when the countries presented native dishes.
The Vale of Clwyd Scouts made and served Welsh Cakes hot from the pan, a very popular dish.
Another day saw a Penny Fayre being operated by all sub-camps with the proceeds donated to Colchester Zoo.
The Scouts and their leaders all agreed it was a fantastic experience to be one small group amongst 10,000 like-minded people who had enjoyed Scouting at its best.
