The company received an order for two adult man-overboard dummies from supply squadron at RAF Valley.

As the squadron was on a training exercise in the area, they asked if it was possible to collect the training dummies themselves by helicopter.

After liaison with Nigel Roberts, the station officer of Corwen Fire Station and also a committee member of the War Memorial Park in Corwen, it was agreed they could land safely on the football pitch in Corwen, to the delight of children and families who were in the nearby park.

Les Lovitt, from RAF Valley, said the dummies would be a vital aid in their sea rescue training.
