Limousin champion sells for 3,000 guineas
THE champion entry at a show and sale of pedigree Limousin bulls in Ruthin sold for 3,000 guineas.
Judge Andrew Clarke of Sheffield awarded the champion honours to the 28-month-old 'Medrad Biggins' from Hughes & Co of Ystrad Fawr, Llangwm, Corwen.
The bull later sold for 3,000 guineas to A Edmunds of Pool Park Farm, Ruthin.
The reserve champion was 'Myfyrian Bruno' from M Roberts of Myfyrian Isaf, Gaerwen which sold for 3,050 guineas to R E Roberts & Co of Tyn y Celyn, Treddol, Corwen.
