Thanks to an initiative between Denbighshire County Council, M & H Coaches and pubs, guests who wish to take part in the Vale
of Clwyd Festival of Ale can use a special bus service on July 19.

Denbighshire County Council is doubling its bus service on the scenic 76 for one day to encourage patrons of the Vale of Clwyd Festival Ale to travel safely and enjoyably by bus.

On the day the buses will operate hourly on the route - there will also be a special hourly evening service that day too. The 76 operates from Denbigh to Ruthin and Griagfechan, via Llandyrnog, Llangwyfan, Hendrewydd, Llangynhafal, Llanbedr and Llanfair DC.

James Short, owner of the Three Pigeons Inn at Graigfechan, a spokesman for the eight hostelries involved in the festival, said: "This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a day out at the delightful range of country pubs while benefitting from a chauffeur along the way. The special festival £2.50 bus day ticket will enable passengers to hop between pubs."
