Open house at school

VISITORS will be able to join pupils and staff for lunch at an open day with a difference to be held at Ruthin School.





Pupils, not teachers, will conduct tours for prospective parents at the junior school open day, to take place from 9.30am to 5pm tomorrow, Friday, May 16.

The junior school, which takes pupils from the age of three to 11, is introducing the new open day format to help debunk any lingering perceptions that independent schools might be formal and old-fashioned -or indeed as costly as some people may think - said bursar Toby Belfield.
