Revving into pole position is a new Welsh formula motor ace

Through the medium of Prodrive boss David Richards an important link has been created from 1970s Formula 1 star Tom Pryce and new upcoming Formula 3 racer Hywel Lloyd.





IT'S a long way to Tipperary- but it's even further to Monza! Not that an up-and-coming Corwen racing driver is grumbling about it, as he continues to live the dream on the road towards Formula 1 racing.

That young man is Hywel Lloyd, who has enjoyed success-after-success over the past 12 months and could well be on his way to emulating Vale of Clwyd F1 legend Tom Pryce.

Two championship wins in quick succession have meant a big step-up for Hywel this season, as he is now competing in the ultra-competitive Formula Three series.
