A 43-YEAR-old woman is in a serious condition in hospital following a collision on the A55 on Monday morning.




The woman, who is believed to be from North Wales, was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd following the collision.

The incident occurred just before 2.53am, on the eastbound carriageway near Caerwys, Holywell.

Two vehicles are believed to have been involved; a red Rover 211, a white Citroen panel van.
