Ruane backs motoring tiredness campaign
A TIREDNESS campaign aimed particularly at motorists who drive as part of their employment has been backed by Vale of Clwyd MP Chris Ruane.
According to a poll carried out for THINK!, a government supported road safety campaign group, one in five of all crashes on major roads are caused by tired drivers but research shows many motorists are ignoring the simplest sign - the common yawn - that it's time for a break.
"Tiredness is a proven killer but there are simple measures which can be taken to prevent any tragedies from occurring," said Mr Ruane.
