Minchinhampton Gardening Club MINCHINHAMPTON Gardening Club held its 27th Annual Show in Minchinhampton School Hall on Saturday, September 12 to coincide with the Minchinhampton Country Fayre. In spite of the inclement weather over the summer, there were nearly a hundred entrants and the standard of entries was excellent. We are all grateful for the hard work of Terry and Chris Sharpe as show secretaries and also for the many volunteer helpers, who assisted the judges, acted as stewards and provided delicious teas to visitors. The Reverend Jane Walden presented the prizes and commented on the wonderful community spirit experienced at the show. We were delighted to raise £501 to add to the sums raised by the Fayre for local charities.
Congratulations must go to Mandy Shipway as the winner of no less than four awards.
