Talk on preacher Tom Nefyn to help Yogi fund

A CONTROVERSIAL preacher, writer and poet who died 50 years ago is the latest to help raise money for a disabled rugby player.




On May 22 an event is being held at Tabernacle Chapel, Ruthin, when a talk will be given by the Rev Iorwerth Jones Owen of Caernarfon on the Rev Tom Nefyn Williams, who died in 1958.

Born in 1895, Tom Nefyn, as he was known, served in the Dardanelles, France, Egypt and the Middle East during World War I and became a staunch pacifist.
