WOULD you love to live the 'good life'? Spending your days tending to your garden and caring for former battery hens?




This is the life of 81-year-old Barbara and husband Jim Buchanan, 85, who live in Henllan.

Barbara and Jim moved from Liverpool in 1976, when Jim's firm closed down and he was made redundant.

"Instead of being poor in Liverpool, we thought we would be poor here," said Jim.

They bought a cottage in Bryn Rhyd yr Arian and decided to follow the 'good life'.
