AN INVESTIGATION into a spate of burglaries on the same day in Bala last week has begun.

North Wales Police are investigating after three burglaries took place at Bala Industrial Estate on Thursday, May 31.

Liam Williams, Sargeant for North Wales Police, at Porthmadog Police Station said: “Three commercial properties were broken into on Bala Industrial Estate last Thursday evening and a quantity of power tools and fuel were stolen.

"We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in those areas between 9.30pm and 11.00pm and saw any suspicious activity or vehicles to contact North Wales Police.

“Our aim of reducing rural crime and rigorously investigating those that take place will continue however it must be stressed that we need assistance from our local communities to reduce incidents of this nature and identify those responsible in the first instance.

"Remain vigilant at all times, always ensure your property is locked and secured and if you see any suspicious behaviour contact police immediately.”
