It was a fantastic performance by Denbigh Harrier Jo Henderson representing Wales in Italy.

Five athletes travelled to Morbegno to represent Wales at the Trofeo Vanoni Relays.

The women’s team finished seventh overall with a time of 51:10.85 minutes. Joanne Henderson got the team underway in the first leg, finishing in 25:25.05 to take the twelfth fastest leg of the day. Katie Reynolds (Eryri Harriers) ran the second leg to secure the seventh-place finish in a time of 25:45.80 minutes.

The Abergele 10k was held last Sunday morning.

A sunny day and a flat course saw runners run along the coastal path past Llanddulas with the turning point just after the steep climb by the quarry.

Two Denbigh Harriers ran in the 10k:

There was a fantastic representation of Denbigh Harriers at this Saturday’s classic Marathon Eryri! Eleanor Ashcroft was running her second marathon in the space of two weeks but had a brilliant run - finishing this tough, hilly race in 3:43:48.

Huw Williams was next Harrier to finish in an impressive 4:13:09, followed by Catherine Tudor Jones in 4:14:52, Mari Williams in 4:24:43, David Jones in 4:32:25, Peter Lester-Owen in 5:02:59 and Jane Emlyn Jones in 5:28:54.
