YOUNG judges have come to the fore following a special event.
By kind permission of the Swan family, members of Clwyd YFC were invited to judge Welsh pigs at Ffrith Farm, Treuddyn earlier this month.
The judges were Clive Swan, Geraint Evans and Clwyd Spencer.
Results:
Aged 16 and under: 1) Ffion Roberts (Cilcain); 2, Beau Bevan (Treuthop); 3, Cerys Harris (Cilcain).
Aged 18 and under: 1, James Brown (Treuthop); 2, Megan Jones (Llangollen); 3, Ollie Taylor (Cilcain).
Aged 21 and under: 1, Iwan Parry (Whitford); 2, Dave Stoner (Cilcain); 3, Peredur Owen (Uwchaled).
Aged 26 and under: 1, Elgan Roberts (Llannefydd); 2, Erica Swan (Treuthop); 3, Aled D Jones (Llangollen).
Club team: 1, Cilcain; 2, Llannefydd; 3, Treuthop.
