Emergency services were called to an incident in Llangollen on Wednesday evening.
An air ambulance landed on a field behind the youth centre on Willow Street at around 6pm, after reports of a road traffic collision in which a youth was struck by a vehicle.
There was also a police presence at the scene.
Neither the Welsh Ambulance Service or North Wales Police were available for comment when approached by the Leader this evening.
