LAST Wednesday was a historic night for Bala Town Ladies at Maes Tegid.
Hosting Rhyl Development in a friendly, three halves of 30 minutes were played in freezing fog at the ground.
It was Rhyl's first friendly as a development side and they were a credit to their club, with a battling performance throughout.
Goals for the Lakesiders came from Ceri Redman (3), Zoe Williams, Emma Evans and an own goal, with Rhyl scoring late on, meaning that Town notched their first ever win.
There were great displays from both teams, with 30 ladies playing in total for the two sides.
