PRESTATYN Running Club’s Andy Bromley has been able to complete a fine “double”.

He won the second race in the Deestriders’ Off-Road Grand Prix series at Shotton, following up his victory last month.

With 24 runners out, the Prestatyn club again made up about 25 per cent of the field, and there were many encouraging signs.

The club’s first four finishers were all relative youngsters, but it was also good to see stalwart George Nicholls returning to form and others such as Gary Johnson continuing to progress.
