ANDY Mangan's first goal for the club has helped Bala Town into a 2-0 half-time lead during their pre-season trip to Hyde United.
The Lakesiders are in control of the contest at the midway point and Mangan broke the deadlock in the 39th minute.
Good work from Henry Jones set up Mangan, who beat a United player and then lobbed the keeper from distance.
Ian Sheridan slotted home Bala's second goal six minutes shy of the interval.
