SIX of the best meant that Denbigh Town made a successful return to Central Park.
In their first home pre-season encounter of the summer, Denbigh swept to a 6-1 success versus Llanrwst United.
This was no stroll in the park for Denbigh, though, as they fell behind in the first minute.
Goals from Sam Downey and Sam Jones saw Town hit back to claim the lead by the interval, before Denbigh took control with four further efforts in the second period.
Ross Weaver made it 3-1 in the 63rd minute and this was followed just two minutes later by Mark Roberts' first goal of the afternoon.
Roberts concluded the scoring in the 86th minute and this came four minutes after Jake Walker had made it 5-1 to Denbigh.
