THE Denbigh and District Darts League agenda was set aside last week.
Last week was marked by the commencement of this year's nine-a-side cup.
The summer version pitches both divisions in together in the unpredictable double start, double finish format.
Reigning champions Masons A travelled to B-League high flyers the Kinmel Arms and they recorded a ruthless 9-0 whitewash victory.
Elsewhere, A-League table-toppers The Wingmen were given a stern test at Masons B, just prevailing 6-3.
Nick Hailes slotted in a brilliant 135 finish during the contest.
In another all A-League tussle, Wings A defeated Golden Lion A 5-4.
Justin Williams' last game win helped Railway B get past White Lion B 5-4, with league stalwart Elfyn Jones hitting a 115 checkout in his match.
Railway A slapped the Hand Inn 8-1 away from home.
Golden Lion C recorded a 6-2 win at White Lion A to book their last-eight slot.
They will be joined by Golden Lion B, who had to rely on a last game win by Dyfrig Davies to see off The Plough in a tight nine-legged affair.
Quarter-final draw (August 15): Masons A v Railway A, Wingmen v Golden Lion B, Wings B v Wings A, Railway B v Golden Lion C.
