RUTHIN minis and juniors didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits on Sunday!
Ruthin U-7’s played really well in their 28-15 loss at Mold.
The team spirit is certainly soaring among the youngest members of the club.
Ruthin U-8s fielded a total of 21 players and enjoyed a morning of great tag rugby against a well-organised Mold side.
The coaches witnessed some great individual and team skills, but Mold came out on top, scoring 19 tries to Ruthin’s 13.
Elsewhere, a great performance by the whole team saw Ruthin U-10s defeating Mold 60-5.
Ruthin U-12s had a round robin day with Mold and Wrexham.
With a number of key players out and others adjusting to new positions, Ruthin lost their first game against Mold 26-7 and the second game against Wrexham 34-0.
A get well soon message goes to Will, who sustained a knee to the eye and had to have nine stitches in hospital.
There were also two matches over the weekend for Ruthin U-13s, who lost 15-0 to Bethesda and 50-0 versus Wrexham.
Ruthin Ravens Girls Rugby Cluster Club has a variety of teams ranging from U-7s to U-18s.
Training is on Tuesdays, between 5.30 and 7pm.
