ALTHOUGH Dinbych still remain winless after four away Division One (North) matches, they gave a much improved performance in a closely contested encounter at Dolgellau.
It was the hosts who ran out 25-17 winners, with Dinbych just missing out on a bonus point by a solitary point.
Replacement back Jordan Wynne, debutant wing Gethin Williams and Dan O'Sullivan scored the tries for the visitors, with the latter kicking one conversion.
Dinbych 2nds claimed their first victory of the season in a ding-dong encounter against Rhos that ended 22-21.
