THEY say that form is temporary and class is permanent.

That was obvious when Cefn played host to Henllan in the latest spot of Llandyrnog and District Summer League action.

Lining up for Cefn was Owain Roberts, while experienced striker Dewi Jones was in the Henllan ranks as two unbeaten records were on the line.

The duo have a combined age of over 90 and they have a total of 60 Summer League seasons between them.

The match-up would finish up 3-3, with Morgan Jones (2) and David Evans on target for Cefn, while Sam Jones (2) and Dewi Jones replied for Henllan.

There is just one perfect record left in this season's Summer League and that belongs to Llanrhaeadr.

They defeated Rhewl 3-0 thanks to Ynyr Jones, Gari Evans and Sam Jones.

Iestyn Gadd and Gethin Jones were on target for Llangynhafal in their 2-2 draw versus Clawddnewydd (Luke Jones and Robin Jones), while Ysceifiog saw off Flintshire rivals Caerwys 4-1.

Danny Jones, Mike Guest, Keith Ainsworth and Joe Harrison netted for the hosts, with Ruari Wood replying.

Gruff Roberts (2), Geraint Jones and Luke Molmans all struck as Nantglyn claimed a 4-1 triumph away to Llanfair (Meirion Pughe).

Elsewhere, Craig Jones and Josh Jones both bagged hat-tricks as Llandyrnog won 8-1 at Trefnant.

Gabriel Hinchcliffe and an own goal completed the visitors' tally, with player-boss Jared Jones scoring for Trefnant.
