Henllan maintained their unbeaten record thanks to a 4-1 success versus Clawddnewydd.

Llandyrnog climbed to fourth after their thrilling 5-4 win at Llangynhafal.

Eddie Evans, Craig Jones, Steff Parry, Sam Hughes and an own goal sealed success for Jimmy McNally's visitors.

Ysceifiog claimed a fine 5-1 triumph during their trip to Nantglyn.

Matt Gilsenan netted twice for Ysceifiog and he was joined on the scoresheet by Danny Jones, Mike Guest and Joe Harrison.

Cian Evans grabbed Nantglyn's consolation.

In further action, Llanfair and Rhewl played out a 1-1 draw.

Meirion Pughe netted for Llanfair, with George Mitchell on target for Rhewl.

Turning to last Tuesday's action and a four-goal showing from Sam Jones helped Llanrhaeadr to a 6-2 verdict at Nantglyn.

Ynyr Jones and Osian Audley also struck for the leaders, with Robin Jones and Gruff Roberts scoring for Nantglyn.

Morgan Jones (2), Gwion Owen (2) and Steffan Williams made sure of Cefn's 5-0 success at Clawddnewydd and Rhewl managed to get the better of Llangynhafal 4-2.

Ian Williams, Kyle Jones, Llyr Williams and Andrew Hession netted for Rhewl, with Ben Smith and Iestyn Gadd responding.

Eddie Evans' strike handed Llandyrnog a narrow 1-0 victory versus Caerwys, while Henllan had to settle for a point from a 3-3 draw at Llanfair.

Sam Jones grabbed a hat-trick for the visitors and Llanfair's efforts came from Sam Roberts, Tom Roberts and Shaun Davies.

Trefnant celebrated their first win of the season as strikes from Julian Watson and Cai Davies handed them a 2-1 outcome at Ysceifiog (Joe Harrison).
