Among the success stories here was Eva Evans, who grabbed a silver medal for the 17+ female 800-metres freestyle event.

In claiming second position, she also knocked over three seconds off her personal best.

During a superb event, she also got a further six top-10 placings over the course of the meet.

It turned out to be a busy March for Denbigh Dragons, with two galas for swimmers to compete in.

This was scheduled to be held over the Easter holidays, but it was eventually cancelled due to issues with the Swansea and Cardiff 50-metre pools.
