A THIRD straight bonus point win was Llangollen’s reward as they comfortably beat Wrexham 2nds at Bryn Estyn.

A solid performance by the pack gave the Llangollen back line a good platform to launch attack after attack, and resulted in winger Josh Wilson using his pace to score three tries.

Full back Dyfan Jarvis chipped in with a try, along with number eight Huw Evans, who is an ever-present on the scoresheet for the Denbighshire side.

Outside-half Mark Price added a penalty and three conversions to complete the scoring.

Flankers Dan Roberts and Gavin Roberts put in impressive performances along with Dai Lawrence, who skippered the Tower Fields men in the place of Matt Rogers.

Llangollen coach Ian Morris said after the match: “It was a tough game today.

"Wrexham hit us with everything but the lads’ defending was fantastic to hold them out.

“The backline are really playing well and people are struggling with our pace, especially young Josh on the wing.”
