The clubhouse was the setting for the club's silver night presentation evening, when club president Eifion Jones made the presentations to the major prizewinners of the 2008 season.

Special thanks were given to match and handicap members for their sterling work throughout a busy and successful centenary summer season, especially the chairman Ted Wilding and the ladies competition secretary Sondra Williams.
