PRESTATYN Town Reserves were crowned champions of the Clwyd League Premier Division after an emphatic 5-0 win at Denbigh.

Many thought the floodgates might open, with a bolstered Prestatyn side recording an early Jamie Duffy strike on eight minutes, but the Central Park side made their opponents work hard for their win.

To hit the woodwork on one occasion may be regarded as misfortune - to hit the woodwork three times looks like carelessness.
