CORWEN'S title hopes were dealt a blow as they could only pick up a point at lowly Acrefair.

With Wrexham Area League Premier Division title favourites Brymbo being deducted three points, Corwen entered the game knowing that if they won all of their remaining games they would win the league by a point.

Despite creating a number of chances, Corwen fell behind after giving away a free kick on the touchline.
