AN experiment adopted last year to run the Denbighshire development centre out of the badminton season proved so successful that it is to be repeated this year.




A crowded badminton calendar forced the change which NEWRBA accepted on coaching grounds, as during the season the eradication of bad habits of the players were being thwarted by lapses induced by the competitive play of tournaments and league matches.

The current crop of 12 players who will benefit from the intensive coaching is made up of players from the Prestatyn and Llanferres junior clubs, aged between eight and 12.
