THE Parabolica, the Variante Ascari, the Curva Grande – they're the stuff of motor racing legend and they're at Monza - and so is rising young driver Hywel Lloyd this weekend.




The 23-year-old from Corwen flew out on Tuesday with his CF Racing team to prepare for this weekend's double header of Formula Three races at the famous track, home of the Italian Grand Prix.

It's business as usual, is the team line, but Hywel knows that there will be a special tingle of anticipation as he noses his Mugen Honda out onto the Rettifilo Tribune for the first practice tomorrow.

"That's got to be special for any driver," he admitted.
