Red Lion roar to victory in league knockout final

DENBIGH and District Darts League's 2007-2008 season drew to a close when the competition finals were played at the Conservative Club, Denbigh.




The league positions had been settled two weeks earlier, with Hand the clear Division B champions, while the undefeated Red Lion ran away with Division A.

On the night, the opening game was the nine-a-side knockout final between the Red Lion (Cyffylliog) and the Railway (Denbigh).

Despite their gallant efforts, the Railway suffered a 5-0 defeat by a strong Red Lion side, who have been the side on form this season.
