The water temperature is around 10°C.

The rod average has fallen a bit this week and is now around 1.5-fish-per-angler.

T Edwards from Porthmadog also had a decent day and took three fish for 4lb 8oz, all caught on an orange booby.

Boat hotspots have been Brenig arm, Nantglyn bank and hafod lom woods.
The best method seems to be sinking lines fished with boobies.

Bank hotspots have been tower bay, Nantglyn bank and sailing club, while the best method has been a sinking line fished with a booby.
